What is your role at Fifty and how has it evolved?

I currently work as a People Executive at Fifty which is a far cry from where I started. I started in the Sales team as a Client Executive - delivering pitches, creating proposals, attending events and client lunches, and building relationships etc. My first role at Fifty enabled me to pick up a number of invaluable skills that i have been able to directly translate to my work in the people team.

I’ve always had a forum to comfortably share my honest opinions, passions and goals with my line manager and the wider team, who have then supported me in my professional development  and transition into the People Team. In my new role I assist the development and growth of the people around me, which is something I care deeply about.

As People Executive I am involved with hiring, onboarding, planning socials, delivering staff benefits, developing inclusive working practices, introducing training programmes and so much more.

How has Fifty changed since you first joined?

There are a lot more people! I have watched the company almost double in size which has been incredible. There is so much talent and knowledge within Fifty, being able to watch this translate into the industry recognition and growth of the business has been very rewarding.

What are you looking forward to next?

Being more involved with the hiring process at Fifty and putting on exciting socials! We are currently gearing up for a big Halloween party and already have our Christmas social plans in the making. It feels being involved in giving back to all the amazing people who work at Fifty
