What is your role at Fifty and how has it Evolved?

I’m a Senior Client Executive and work on the brand sales team, which means I predominantly work on prospecting and pitching to brands. I’ve worked across the whole sales process and for different verticals such as music, gaming, food and beverage, but now I’m mostly focused on sport and sport sponsorship. This is also representative of how the company has grown, as when I joined I was mostly focusing on high-growth brands and scale-ups, but I’m now working with much bigger brands, in some cases world-leading in their industry.

How has Fifty changed since you joined in June?

Fifty has changed and grown massively, even since I joined under a year ago. We’re positioned as a top insights and media provider, and have the clients to prove it, like Formula E. This means that the team is predominantly selling to bigger clients, landing bigger deals, and my pipeline is looking more exciting. I also love sport and I’m speaking to people and brands that I’ve followed my whole life.

Did you go to university? If so, what did you study?

I went to Lancaster University and Studied BioChem there, for my degree, and then I did a Master's in Health Policy at Edinburgh.

What has your biggest success been at Fifty?

One of the accounts I was given recently grew a whole lot! They were initially on the lower end of spending in terms of clients, but actually ended up spending quite a lot with us, so I'm proud of that.

Whats next? Is there anything you're looking forward to in particular?

I'm looking forward to hopefully closing the next new brands that you will see on our brand wall! I'm working on a couple of deals that are household names, and it would be amazing to get those over the line. I'm also looking forward to the social things - we have a team lunch next week and a whole company social coming up soon, which is always fun.
